History
AutoCAD Serial Key was originally developed at California’s Autodesk by Peter Norton and his team, which had previously been part of the National Center for Air-ground Activities (USA-NCAGA). Prior to his work at Autodesk, Norton worked at MVA, where he and two colleagues developed MicroStation, a software package to control industrial facilities.
Afterwards, Norton became the lead designer for Autodesk’s upcoming MicroStation project, while his two colleagues stayed on as a technical staff. In 1980, Norton became lead designer of MicroStation and began the task of turning it into a true CAD package. The new software was the next iteration of MicroStation and would be used by engineers in various industries for 2D and 3D drafting, documentation, design, and architectural visualization.
Norton recruited many of the current team members, including Brian Elliott, Franck Dominguez, Lou Phan, Steven White, and Mark Radlovich. Autodesk then published MicroStation in June 1983. It was an improvement over MicroStation since its previous version, AutoCAD Serial Key 1.0, had many design flaws and lacked functionality. MicroStation boasted extensive 3D modeling features that it proved valuable for engineers in the design of industrial facilities. However, many design firms had just begun using computers and had no need for MicroStation. The same year, Autodesk hired a new graphic designer, Bryan Campbell.
Autodesk released AutoCAD Crack in December 1982 and placed it on the market as the first consumer-oriented CAD system. At the time, other CAD products were priced at US$1,000 and required specialized computers that were similar to the workstations used in engineering offices.
